Privacy and data protection for clients and users have a high priority for STRABAG Property and Facility Services. This makes the protection of personal data a chief concern for us throughout our entire business processes. This Privacy Note will elaborate what types of information STRABAG Property and Facility Services will capture during your visit to our websites, and how this information will be used. This does not cover websites of companies that are not a member of STRABAG Property and Facility Services, but which may have set a hyperlink to this or other websites of companies belonging to STRABAG Property and Facility Services. Collection and processing of personal data.
As you visit our website, our web server will temporarily log the domain name, the IP address of the querying computer, the type of web browser, as well as date and time or the query, the file request by the client (file name and URL), the HTTP response code, the message whether the query was successful, the website from which you visited us, and the number of bytes transferred while the connection was up. In some cases we will save some information on your PC in the form of so-called “cookies”. This helps us optimise our website to match your preferences. Beyond that, no personal data such as your name, your address, your phone number or e-mail address will be collected unless you volunteer to submit such information, e.g. in conjunction with a search request for a suitable property, a general request for information, etc.

Use and dissemination of the aforementioned personal data.
We use your personal data solely for purposes related to the technical administration of our web sites, and to fulfil your requests and requirements. Only if you consent to these Privacy Notes will we use these data for product-related polls and marketing purposes, and even then only to the extent necessary for a given scenario. We will disclose your data to government agencies only to the extent mandated by applicable laws. Our staff and branch offices are obliged to observe non-disclosure. Unless the user has consented to other uses, STRABAG Property and Facility Services agrees to use the user data revealed to us in the course of the use relationship in compliance with the German Telemedia Act (TMG), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), as well as other privacy regulations, and only in as much as it serves the purpose of this offer, to uphold data secrecy, and to bind its employees to corresponding non-disclosure provisions to the extent legally required.

Freedom of information.
Upon written request, STRABAG Property and Facility Services will specify which of your personal data was saved (e.g. name, address).

Security.
We have undertaken extensive technical and operative security measures to protect your personal data that we saved from unauthorised access and misuse. Our security procedures are subject to regular review and updates to stay abreast of the relevant technological progress.
